It is found in about 90 countries and most cases are found in sub Saharan Africa. Most of the victims of malaria are children.

People will get chills, headaches and then their temperature will drop and they will begin sweating profusely. This day and age, influenza isn't that much of a threat, even though it affects many people. The flu attacks the respiratory tract, causing headaches, body aches, fever, sore throat, colds, vomiting, etc.

Meningitis is an infectious disease that affects the spinal cord. It can be viral or bacterial and causes numerous deaths each year. Symptoms include high fever, vomiting, delirium, stiff neck, headache and photophobia. This is one of the infectious diseases that can cause brain damage if not treated.

There are medical diseases that have been around for hundreds of years. In order to find a cure for these infectious diseases, we must constantly perform research and put in an effort. We should not just focus on the Western world, but countries all over the globe, no matter how wealthy they may be.
